Support program for mothers of children with disabilities offering awareness, support groups, and home visits π©βπ§βπ¦
OUR PROGRAMS
At the Family Defense Society, we believe that empowering the child begins with empowering the mother. Driven by this belief, the Special Education Program was created to be a companion for mothers raising children with disabilities, guiding them confidently towards awareness, acceptance, and strength.
The program aims to provide a safe and supportive space for mothers through three core pillars:
Awareness Meetings
Regular educational meetings offering practical and psychological information that helps mothers understand disability, the needs of their child, and ways to support them at various stages of growth. These sessions are designed to be simple, realistic, and based on the latest scientific knowledge.Psychosocial Support Groups
A mother does not walk this journey alone... In these groups, mothers meet others who share similar experiences, creating a support network filled with empathy, strength, and hope. We create an environment where mothers feel heard, understood, and accepted just as they are.Home Visits
Because we believe that real change starts at home, we conduct home visits to support mothers in their natural environment, offering practical guidance tailored to their daily circumstances.
The Special Education Program is not just a service, but a journey that weβve walked alongside exceptional mothers, ensuring they feel capable, supported, and never alone.
Together, we believe that every mother can make a difference⦠and every child deserves to be embraced with faith.
